As we welcome the Lunar New Year, we embrace 2025 as the Year of the Snake—a symbol of wisdom and transformation. In many cultures, the snake represents intuition, strategic thinking, and renewal, shedding its skin to grow stronger. These qualities deeply resonate with our mission at Soroptimist: empowering women and girls to transform their lives through education and opportunity.
Like the snake’s ability to adapt and thrive, the women we support demonstrate incredible resilience in overcoming obstacles. Through efforts like our Dream Programs and Big Goal Accelerator projects, we help them embrace new beginnings, gain confidence, and step boldly into a future they design for themselves.
