It’s Tax Time – Getting Your Documents Ready
Thank you to all our generous 2024 donors! For all our donors in the United States, it’s time to start gathering your documents for the 2025 tax season.
Tax deductible donations are contributions of money or goods to a tax-exempt organization such as Soroptimist International of the Americas. Tax deductible donations can reduce taxable income.
You can visit this helpful article from NerdWallet.com for guidance on whether or not it’s a good option for you to itemize and deduct your charitable donations for 2024. Please contact your tax professional for advice on your personal situation.
If you are choosing to itemize and deduct your charitable donations to SIA, you can use the tax receipts that you received throughout the year. If you are enrolled in Stargazer Monthly Giving, have given multiple gifts throughout 2024, or need a replacement tax receipt for a gift, please reach out to development@soroptimist.org with the subject “2024 Tax Receipt” and we will work with you to get the documentation you need.
