As we welcome the Lunar New Year, we embrace 2026 as the Year of the Horse—a symbol of energy, freedom, and forward momentum. In many cultures, the horse represents strength, endurance, independence, and a spirited drive to succeed. These qualities deeply resonate with our mission at Soroptimist: empowering women and girls to transform their lives through education and opportunity.
Like the horse’s powerful stride and unwavering spirit, the women we support demonstrate resilience, courage, and the determination to overcome obstacles. Through efforts like our Dream Programs and Big Goal Accelerator projects, we help them embrace new beginnings, gain confidence, and step boldly into a future they design for themselves.
