Laurel Legacy’s Lasting Impact
In this season of giving and gratitude, one group of special Soroptimist donors that we’d like to recognize and thank are our members who have decided to make a planned gift. Laurel Legacy members help to ensure that our Dream Programs are funded beyond their lifetime, and that women and girls have the resources and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential and live their dreams for years to come.
Three reasons we are thankful for Laurel Legacy members:
They are forward-thinking. Not everyone is able to make a significant cash gift right now and many people have limited assets during their lifetime to devote to their philanthropic interests. Becoming a Laurel Legacy member allows for those donors to plan ahead and make a gift to Soroptimist in the future.
They give monthly and consistently. Did you know that many donors who make a planned gift also give actively, either as a Stargazer monthly donor or through one-time gifts? That says a lot about the commitment level and dedication of these donors who make personally significant decisions about their philanthropy.
They want our organization to succeed. Those who make a planned gift to Soroptimist want to see our organization thrive and be sustainable well into the future. They understand that without continued funding of our programs, we won’t increase our impact.
