Meet Our Service Project Partner at SIA’s 48th Biennial Convention

We are thrilled to partner with FamilyWorks, a Seattle-based organization, for SIA’s 48th Biennial Convention.

FamilyWorks partners with families to alleviate food insecurity and ensure they have resources and support to overcome systemic barriers to equity, build stable communities, and thrive. We chose this organization because many of the families they support comprise a woman head of household.

During convention, SIA will collect school supplies in preparation for the new school year! These donations will be given to FamilyWorks for distribution and the impact of our contribution will be documented and announced on Friday, July 26, during the General Session: Making an Impact in the Grand Ballroom.

Join us by donating online or in person!

For in-person donations, there will be a collection area in the Evergreen Foyer on both Wednesday and Thursday, July 24 and 25.

For online donations, FamilyWorks has kindly provided an Amazon Wish List. All items ordered through FamilyWorks’ Amazon Wish List will ship directly to their office so you won’t need to travel with them. Please note: Select "Edsel Blanche's Gift Registry Address" as the shipping address when you check out.

Together we can make an impact in Bellevue, and we hope you will participate!

P.S. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #SIAConv2024 when sharing convention news on social media!
