49th Biennial Convention Registration and Waitlist Updates

Thank you for your patience as we move closer to Inspiring Dreams, during Soroptimist International of the Americas’ 49th Biennial Convention in Incheon, South Korea. We have been working diligently with the venue to address the tremendous response to attend convention and support the registration waitlist. Our priority is to accommodate voting delegates, followed by general member attendees.

Below are the important updates and upcoming deadlines:

Waitlist Closure

• Monday, March 30 at 11:59 p.m. (ET)

  • Waitlist officially closed. 

Delegate Registration Process

• Wednesday, April 1

  • Delegates on the waitlist will receive registration codes and instructions.

• Monday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m. (ET)

  • Deadline for in-person delegate registration.

Delegates who do not register by this deadline can only attend the Virtual Business Meeting. Registration for virtual delegates ends on June 5, at 11:59 p.m. (KST).

Delegates who have not secured hotel accommodations at the Inspire Entertainment Resort are required to join the hotel signup list so we can secure enough rooms for all attendees (a link will be provided when you receive your registration code).

General Member Attendee Process

• Friday, April 10

  • General member attendees from the waitlist who we can accommodate will receive an email invitation to submit payment for registration.

• Wednesday, April 15 at 11:59 p.m. (ET)

  • Deadline to complete payment.

Members who do not complete payment by this deadline will forfeit their seat. This will enable us to accommodate other general member attendees on the waitlist.

• Friday, April 17

  • Paid attendees will receive registration codes and instructions.

Paid general member attendees who have not secured hotel accommodations at the INSPIRE Entertainment Resort are required to join the hotel signup list so we can secure enough rooms for all attendees (a link will be provided when you receive your registration code).

• Wednesday, April 22, at 11:59 p.m. (ET)

  • Deadline to complete registration. This will allow time to plan meals and other event logistics adequately.   

Important Delegate Policies Update

We are unable to accommodate any changes from general attendee to delegate in-person status (or vice versa) after April 15.  

Clubs should finalize and communicate with their designated delegates prior to the waitlist closing on Monday, March 30.  

Hotel Accommodations

We will submit finalized hotel room requirements in mid-April based on need and registered attendees who have signed up for rooms. A link to the hotel signup list will be provided when you receive your code and instructions to register. Please do not complete the form if you or your region office has already contacted SIA Headquarters about your accommodations.

Friday, April 17, at 11:59 p.m. (ET) will be the last opportunity for attendees to sign up for hotel rooms.
