CSW70 Through La’Tasha and Elizabeth’s Eyes

SI/Connecticut Shoreline (North Atlantic Region) members, Governor Elizabeth Peterson and Live Your Dream Awards Chair La’Tasha Maddox attended the United Nations’ 70th Commission for the Status of Women (CSW70) in New York City. SIA actively engages with the United Nations (UN) to promote gender equality and empower women and girls, aligning directly with our mission. Both women describe the experience as life-changing, and they are proud and privileged to be preserving women’s human rights and advocating for legal gender equality in every country and municipality.
