/Live Your Dream Awards/ Reminders

Judging

Remember that the Live Your Dream Award applicant deadline is November 15th! Your club can decide to accept PDF applications after this deadline if you’d like but be sure it works in your club’s judging timeline. Make sure anyone reading applications (Soroptimist member or not) has a signed confidentiality agreement in your club’s records. After the Deadline

If your club has additional funds to distribute for the Live Your Dream Awards, but not enough applications, contact your region chair or reach out to SIA for non-local applications by emailing LYDAwards@soroptimist.org.

Reporting

If your club gives a Live Your Dream Award this year, be sure to report it by February 1st (if your region has district judging) or February 15th (if your region does not have district judging). If you do not report by the deadline, your club will not be counted as participating in the program. Need any help with the form? Records

Did you know that clubs should keep a copy of any applications that your club reviewed in your secure club records for at least one year, and funded applications should be kept in club records in perpetuity? Make sure your club has a procedure for this!
