Maximize Your Club’s Impact with Soroptimists UpliftHER!
Let’s talk about our new initiative, Soroptimists UpliftHER! Once a quarter, SIA will focus on an obstacle that women and girls face on their path to formal education and economic empowerment. The October to December focus is intimate partner violence.
Things to Know
Focused Project Guidance: Soroptimists UpliftHER gives clubs a quarterly focus making it easier to plan impactful projects that align with SIA’s mission (future focuses include intimate partner violence, trafficking, single parenting and period poverty).
Increased Impact: Encourages clubs to work in solidarity on similar projects, amplifying the collective impact across the federation and contributing to SIA’s Big Goal of investing in the dreams of half a million women and girls by 2031.
Project Refinement and Inspiration: Helps clubs tweak existing projects or gain fresh ideas that better align with increasing access to education for women and girls facing specific obstacles.
Promote Your Projects: Clubs can participate by sharing SIA posts and posting about their own projects using the hashtag #SoroptimistsUpliftHER, spreading awareness and visibility.
Use Soroptimist Branding: When promoting club projects, always use SIA branding on posts, graphics and resources. The Soroptimists UpliftHER logo is for internal use only.
Raise Awareness with Graphics: Use downloadable social media graphics to spread awareness about intimate partner violence in your communities.
