SIA 2026 Mandatory Convention Club Fee

Mandatory Convention Club Fee Due March 15

As a reminder, the mandatory convention club fee of $825 must be paid by March 15, 2026. The invoice was applied to all club accounts on January 1, 2026. A second notice was sent to the club email address, club leaders, Governors, Governors-elect, and region offices on February 15, 2026. Clubs can login and pay this fee through the member portal, by credit card, ACH/Wire payment, or by Lockbox.

Clubs that have not paid the convention fee on or before March 15 will also pay a late fee equal to 10% of the Convention Fee ($82.50)—this includes clubs that have received partial Mandatory Convention Club Fee relief, so please be sure that payments are made on time to avoid that fee. Clubs that have not paid by April 1 (or have not started a payment plan agreement with SIA) will be placed in not good standing and are at risk for having their charter revoked.

Mandatory Convention Club Fee Relief Application Update

The Mandatory Convention Club Fee relief application is now closed, as we have received requests for relief that will exhaust the funds budgeted by the board of directors. If your club has already applied for Mandatory Convention Club Fee Relief, please rest assured that your application is being reviewed thoroughly and your patience is appreciated. You will be notified by March 2 of the final status of your relief request.

Clubs that were unable to apply before the application closed may request to be added to a wait list by emailing SIAHQ@soroptimist.org. Clubs requesting to be added to the waitlist should include their club name, region, their club’s financial reports as of June 30, 2025 (or bank statements from January, June, and December 2025), any extenuating circumstances, and requested relief amount. These requests will be reviewed if additional funds become available, and clubs will be notified accordingly. In addition, clubs may contact headquarters to explore available payment plan options.
