SIA Welcomes New Chief Membership and Communications Officer
SIA is strengthening how we support members, advance our programs and communicate our mission through two key changes to our Executive Leadership Team.
LaTisha Henderson Joins SIA as Chief Membership and Communications Officer
Please welcome LaTisha Henderson, SIA’s new Chief Membership and Communications Officer. She brings 15 years of association and nonprofit management experience in membership strategy, engagement and retention, communications, operations, and organizational leadership.
Most recently, LaTisha served as director of membership and interim director of operations at Independent Sector in Washington, D.C. Earlier in her career, she led global recruitment and retention for an international association serving 45,000 members across 120 countries.
In this new role, LaTisha will provide executive leadership for membership operations, governance services, marketing and communications, brand management, and federation support. By bringing these areas together, she will help create a more cohesive experience for members while strengthening organizational effectiveness and the visibility of our mission.
Iesha D. Brown Named SIA’s Chief Experience Officer
Iesha D. Brown, formerly Chief Impact and Engagement Officer, will transition to Chief Experience Officer. Continuing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she will provide strategic leadership for program strategy and impact, the overall SIA experience, leadership development, volunteer engagement, and advocacy.
These changes are part of a thoughtful restructuring at SIA Headquarters intended to strengthen collaboration and place even greater attention on our programs and member recruitment, retention, and engagement.
We look forward to their leadership as we continue investing in the dreams of women and girls.
