Unstoppable Women: SI/San Diego, CA
SI/San Diego, CA (Desert Coast Region), held an "Unstoppable Women" event that celebrated their 2023 Live Your Dream Awards recipients. The event generated a commendable gross revenue of $61,109, comprising contributions from ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, boutique gift raffle, paddle raise (fund-a-need), boutique vendor space fees, and live auction. The event celebrated the women with boutique shopping opportunities, a luncheon, an award ceremony, and a theatrical fashion show. This event and other efforts as a club allowed SI/San Diego to achieve 100% completion of the Club Roadmap Metrics.
Publicizing the Event
SI/San Diego utilized a diverse set of publicity tools to promote the event like leveraging their social media platforms, website, and newsletter with over 700 subscribers. The club also printed materials, used word of mouth, received corporate sponsors, and partnered with community colleges and programs. This mix of promotions successfully reached a wide audience and spread awareness that drove ticket sales.

Net revenue for the event amounted to $31,284, showing the success of SI/San Diego’s fundraising efforts and the commitment of their supporters to the mission of empowering women through the Live Your Dream Awards program.

• $450 – Continued support to prior year Live Your Dream awardees
• $3,600 – Girls Rising Women Emerging Program providing women ages 18 to 24 with professional and personal development support and career readiness
