Ginger Cole Elected 2022-2023 SIA Secretary/Treasurer
Congratulations to Ginger Cole, who was elected to serve as 2022-2023 SIA Secretary/Treasurer!
In this role, Ginger will participate in strategic planning and program development to help Soroptimist meet its next Big Goal to reach half a million women girls through access to education. In addition, she will work with Soroptimist’s professional staff to oversee the organization’s financial practices and accounts.
A member of SI/Los Angeles, CA (Camino Real Region), Ginger first joined Soroptimist in 2007. Since then she has served as club president, vice president, Dream It, Be It chair and Violet Richardson Award chair, as well as region governor, governor-elect, secretary and parliamentarian. Ginger currently serves on the SIA Board of Directors.
In addition to her Soroptimist activities, Ginger earned a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Education degree in education administration from California State University in Los Angeles. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Foothill Alumnae Chapter. And also loves to travel and enjoys, live theatre, concerts and jazz.
Ginger will assume her role as 2022-2023 SIA Secretary/Treasurer on September 1, 2022.
