Member Spotlight: Leticia Masuda

Leticia “Letty” Masuda joined Soroptimist in 1998. A member of SI/Saitama (Japan Higashi Region), Letty shares what she loves about the Soroptimist Dream Programs:

They are focused and very rewarding. Dream programs are focused on education, which is the highest potential to empower women and girls facing obstacles in their lives and that is what is all about the Soroptimist Dream Programs. Carrying out the Dream Programs gives me motivation, happiness and satisfaction in my volunteer career as a Soroptimist. I'm inspired to see the happy faces of the awardees when they receive their cash awards and three years later after receiving the awards I feel relieved to know that their economic well-being and quality of life has improved and that with the help of the Soroptimist Dream Programs they could regain their dreams. These facts give me motivation to volunteer as a Soroptimist.
