SIA Delegates Briefing

Final preparations for the General Business Meeting during the 47th Virtual Biennial Convention are underway. The Agenda and Standing Rules will guide that meeting, where delegates will consider a proposed amendment to SIA’s Bylaws. 

All members who are registered for the convention will be able to view the General Business Meeting on July 23, at 6:00 p.m. (ET). Voting during the General Business Meeting is governed by Section 7.02 of the SIA Bylaws, and only one registered delegate from each club in good standing, region governors, past federation presidents, and members of the SIA Board are entitled to vote.

All individuals entitled to vote will receive an email invitation the week of July 19 to attend a virtual Delegates Briefing (interpretation provided) on July 22 at 4:30 p.m. (ET).

All club delegates must be registered by July 19, in order to be credentialed for the General Business Meeting using the special discount code provided. Non-delegate attendees can register through July 22.
