Since our founding in 1921, Soroptimist has been a force for change, investing in the education and empowerment of women and girls worldwide.

Through our Dream programs, we provide critical resources that make a lasting impact:

The Live Your Dream: Education & Awards for Women have disbursed $45 million in education grants since 1972, helping women who are primary financial providers for their families. Each year, we award $3.1 million to more than 2,200 women, empowering them to achieve their goals. The results? 81% of award recipients complete their education and improve their standard of living, and among those who are survivors of gender-based violence, 96% now live in a safe environment.
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls has helped 137,000 girls since 2015, providing mentorship, skills, and encouragement to pursue their ambitions with confidence. 90% of participants say they feel more confident about their future success after completing the program.
