Become a Stargazer monthly donor!

Do you know what is one of the easiest ways to support Soroptimist and our Big Goal of reaching a half million women and girls by 2031?

We are so proud and grateful to the over 1000 members and supporters who are already giving monthly as Stargazers! This amazing group brings in over $65,000 each month to support our mission. This huge impact is accomplished by joining together with small, medium, or large monthly gifts.

Whether it’s $5 or $500 a month, your donation will make a difference in the lives of women and girls in the communities we serve.

Here are just a few examples of how your monthly gift can help a Live Your Dream Awards recipient:

  • $25/month could help a woman purchase textbooks for the year.

  • $50/month could help a woman pay for transportation to classes.

  • $75/month could help a woman pay her monthly utility bills.

  • $100/month could help a woman afford childcare so she can attend a class.

Did you know that as a Stargazer you receive this beautiful silver star pin?

If you are a monthly donor and haven’t received your Stargazer pin, please contact us at development@soroptimist.org and we’d be happy to send you your pin to wear with pride!

Signing up to be a Stargazer is not only an easy way to support SIA’s mission—it’s also a great way to join or increase your recognition level within the Laurel Society. Every monthly donation you make counts towards your Laurel Society total! For instance, with a monthly Stargazer gift of $84, you could become an Attaché member of the Laurel Society in just 12 months.

Learn more about the different ways you can increase your Laurel Society recognition.

We want to sincerely thank the over 1000 Stargazers for their ongoing support, and we hope more of our members will consider joining the Stargazer Monthly Giving program. If you have any questions, please contact development@soroptimist.org.

Thank you for everything you do for the women and girls in our communities!
